Over 40s

Treating myself is not always top of my list but this course reminded me that it really should be. It was not just informative it also gave me options and taught me how to use the techniques and tools that suit me.  I really had forgotten how nice it is to give myself time to apply my makeup. I had honestly got into the rut of throwing it on and running out the door. No longer. I now enjoy getting out my brushes and spending time enhancing all my good bits. Honestly my favourite part was eyebrows and contouring as these just frame you face and a good face really gives you confidence. Thanks Jeanette for not rushing the process and reminding me how fun Make up is. I highly recommend this x

As Jeanette’s Mom, I had the role of viewing each module as she created in and as she said herself  – if I could understand them, then anyone could! When I would put on my makeup, I’d be lucky if it lasted an hour and my makeup bag was a disgrace! So I had to sit and watch all of these videos as she was making them. Some were over two hours long. I couldn’t believe how much they held me. I found it fascinating. I could actually follow it! I found it so clear. It made so much sense when it was broken down. As a thank you for being her guinea pig, Jeanette brought be down some makeup to be practicing with. I had an occasion not long after and I followed along with the module she had me model for – Mature makeup. I did such a good job I had to take a photo of myself to send onto her I looked so well! I had never taken a picture of myself in my life. My makeup lasted all day and evening and I felt amazing. If was the first time ever that I was able to do it myself and it lasted. Don’t worry about what age you are. I’m 68 and had no experience whatsoever. It really is so simple as it’s all broken down in stages. I have all my sister’s doing it now too. I love having the videos there whenever I go to do my makeup. It’s like she’s there in the room with me holding my hand. It was so lovely to be a part of it. I know she’s my baby but I really can say that this course is for anybody who wants to learn, improve and play. You’ll look and feel amazing after it. I’m so proud of what she has created to empower us all.

Jeanette’s course is fantastic. It is broken down into easy to follow modules. Each module goes into just the right amount of detail so that you don’t feel overwhelmed but as you move from module to module your knowledge grows. It is suitable for both those who lack confidence in applying their makeup but also those who need to upskill on knowledge that they already have. I wholeheartedly can’t recommend it enough. 

I recently did one of Jeanette’s Online courses in makeup and I have to say the biggest problem I found with it is that I didn’t get it soon enough! I genuinely wish I got this about 10 years ago because some of the stuff she covers in it  – itis so simple, its so obvious but only when someone points it out to you. So if you’re looking for a gift for yourself or for somebody else this is an absolutely wonderful gift! There are things that I’ve learned from this that I’ll be applying forever. There really is some incredible learning in it so maybe for a niece or a friend or a colleague this would be a wonderful gift to give them. They can do it in their own time, from their home. As I already said, my biggest issue was that I didn’t get it soon enough!
